Senior Business Project Manager – Insurance
About the role
Based in Sydney, this in an Associate Consultant role (contract based) with Frazer Walker for an initial period of six months, with the potential for extensions based on performance.
This is an opportunity to work as part of the Frazer Walker team to help manage and deliver transformational change programs with our clients in the Insurance sector.
What we are looking for from you
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager with IT systems and project management experience within the Insurance industry across underwriting and claims. A strong delivery mindset coupled with a pragmatic and structured approach. Experience with time-critical programs with multi-brand, multi-channel, multi-platform, and multi-vendor environments. Strong vendor management experience, the ability to lead teams comprised of onshore and offshore resources, strong business acumen and insight, and an enthusiasm that fosters teamwork and a positive work culture.
Mandatory requirements are:
- Project and program management
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- People leadership
- Vendor management
- Insurance systems and delivery of insurance technology projects e.g. Guidewire, Duckcreek, Fineos, EIS
- Delivery of time-critical programs, including legislative compliance
- Outsourcing, contract establishment and management
